Teaching.

For eighteen years, Nick taught Mass Media Law at Fordham University School of Law in Manhattan.  Course topics included defamation (libel & slander), prior restraints, invasion of privacy, copyright, trademark, subpoenas and reporters’ privileges, access, government regulation of broadcasting, cable TV and the Internet, and obscenity/indecency, all in the context of First Amendment legal precedents.

Bar Associations and Bar Admissions.

Nick is a member of the Copyright Society of the U.S.A.and is a member of the New York City, California and San Francisco Bar Associations.  Nick has been active in many bar association activities.

Nick is admitted to practice in California and New York state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
